Rasta Taco® began on a sunny afternoon in Jamaica, where Mario “Maji” Melendez, a former clothing designer, sketched out his vision on a poolside napkin. What started as a dream to bring authentic Jamaican jerk chicken to the U.S. evolved into a thriving restaurant and a beloved mobile taco cart business in California. Today, Rasta Taco® brings its unique “one love” concept to weddings, corporate events, and parties, spreading joy and delicious fusion tacos. The brand has expanded to two locations: a Cantina in Joshua Tree and a cozy eatery in Laguna Beach, perfectly situated near the Southern California coast.

For Rasta Taco®, we’ve had the pleasure of working with their various brands, including Rasta Taco®, Rasta Rita®, and Rasta Rita Cantina.
